It is as popular with experienced walkers as it is with amateur hikers. The 8-kilometre walk around the lake is accessible to all and offers great views of the surrounding hills.

For the more energetic, steeper paths lead to the top of the hills, from where you can admire an exceptional panorama of the region.

Lac de Carcès is also a popular fishing spot, with a wide variety of fish in its waters.
